The Globe-inn-Marsh, Rye
Our quite wonderful Globe-inn-Marsh, Rye, acquired as a failed and closed, public house, we recruited great People, we restored and modernised this charming old, clapperboard Place, in which to offer our very own personal and unique Proposition. Popular since the new doors opened in 2013, and following 6 years of trade, we refurbished and adapted to better meet the needs of the post pandemic consequences, during the early year lockdown. Perhaps a good demonstration of a pub meeting the social needs of many as we look to the future, providing a degree of intimacy and protection whilst meeting the need for social engagement and good company; something public houses are uniquely placed to do, perhaps best demonstrated by the Globe’s growing popularity and sales post lockdown!
