In 2018, POD bravely rescued yet another closed and boarded, though this time urban, public house, once a thriving Edwardian Inn, more recently of dubious reputation, on the edge of Folkestone’s elegant West End.  Following extensive refurbishment, largely exploiting the pretty but concealed Edwardian Architecture we created our very own all day trading Place with a Proposition offered, from breakfast to close, 7 days each week. We recruited and trained great local People to join our crusade.  It worked, quickly delivering a strong and growing return on the capital invested, now owned and operated by others, in Folkestone.
