Cheshire Cat Pub Co

John, having worked closely with Mary and Tim Bird, in the Corporate World, was delighted to be asked to create great pubs for their very first and subsequent 7 pub estate.  With an individual and bespoke approach to each and every Place, their pubs are enjoyed by many across Cheshire.

The Red Lion, Weymouth

Far from Cheshire, but Tim and Mary’s very first, now run by the family but not a Cheshire Cat! Never the less we restored this harbour inn adding the great Place to Cheshire Cat’s great People with a great Proposition.  If you ever need the RNLI, you know where to call!

The Bulls Head, Mobberley

The first Cheshire Cat, and a tired Punch Tavern, acquired by Cheshire Cat Pub co. We worked closely with our clients great People with a great Proposition to create a great Place.  The Bulls Head was recovered from its insensitive and out dated corporate branding to restore this wonderful unique and Historic village local.

The Cholmondeley Arms, Cholmondeley

Further commissions for the Cheshire Cat Pub Co., included working with Tim and Mary and Lord Cholmondeley, to redevelop a small Victorian School on the Cholmondeley Estate.  With our clients great People and Proposition we played our part in delivering  a great Place!

Church Inn, Mobberley

With a brief to create a differentiating 3 P offer, and their ‘Bulls Head’, just a mile down the road, we responded to a new client Proposition with their great new People to restore a small but beautiful inn to its former village setting, a wonderful Place, National Pub of the Year 2019, and the proud recipients of a Michelin Award.

Such was the popular success of these wonderfully, individual, unique and lovingly presented local pubs, others followed, go to:-
